I am currently in Legaspi, Albay coz my job calls my presence in this place. And am soloista. Today is my 6th day here and I have 6 more days here to embrace the place.
In my 6 days stay here, i have eaten..
a. Bicol express for four times already. I really love this food that in my first solo lunch, I really ordered this food in the Food Court in LCC mall. The more chilis the more it becomes desirable for my eyes and my mouth. In one of my orders, i cant even see anymore the meat .. all i see are the chilis.
b. Natong or in tagalong the Laing.
They have different versions of laing here. There is this one with all just the leaves of gabi , there is this one with meat, and also there is this one with coconut meat inside. Among these three, its the one with coconut meat inside the gabi leaves is my favourite.c. The puso ng saging with gata and bagoong.
d. Ginataang buto (patani yata), with bagoong na konti, with sili, and with malunggay. Masarap and i recommend this for those who are adventurous to foods like me.
e. Fish na may gata with pechay, tomato and chilis. Highly recommended.
f. Inihaw na tenga ng baboy and inihaw na dila ng baboy. I know these are the ingredients for sisig and bopis.. but they are finely chopped. Here, its served whole with its real shape. Hahaha. Its good though especially with a good sauce.
g. A leafy vegetable which is like hair strands. I don’t know what leaves are those but its good.h. Pinaputok na tilapia wrapped in banana leaves that made the fish smell more delicious.
i. Santol fruit with gata and bagoong.
j. In tabaco, albay, i tasted these suman. The first one is color violet which taste good and the other is the squared suman which a sweet sauce is put on top.
k. Fish with lots of malunggay ang chilis with gata
Im a filipino food enthusiast and my taste buds really go for foods that have gata. Bicolano foods foods definitely got my heart and my stomach.
